Available from Greensboro, NC now are six popular sizes of wire decking. These medium/heavy duty wire decks have a capacity ranging from 2,500 – 2,700lbs. The wire mesh decking have a 2.5” x 4” mesh pattern with 3 channels on each deck. These standard waterfall wire decks accommodate the very popular 1-5/8” step beam on pallet racks. The wire diameter is 6 gauge for the wire decks listed below except for the 48” x 52” wire decks which have a 5 gauge wire. There is a standard 1.5” waterfall on both sides which hangs over the face of the beams. The wire decking is painted with a powder coat gray finish.
The most popular pallet rack upright depths are 36” deep, 42” deep and 48” deep. For your convenience our Greensboro, NC location is now stocking these three depths in wire decks to accommodate these standard upright depths. The most common length of beams are 8′ long, 9′ long and 12′ long. 8′ long step beams use two 46” wide wire decks. 9′ long step beams use two 52” wide wire decks. And finally, 12′ long step beams used three 46” wide wire decks.
